Jet Stripes and Dots From Denby

Jet Stripes Jet Stripes was introduced to the Jet Collection in 2005 as an accent range for Jet Black. Staying with a masculine theme Denby wanted to follow its recent design trend of adding accent pieces to allow the customer to personalise their collection. Jet Stripes was an instant success adding a faint touch of colour to the Jet range. Subtle stripes of green and yellow took Jet to another level while retaining the impact of black tableware.
Jet Dots followed in 2006 offering a softer alternative to Jet stripes. Still maintaining the same subtle shade as Jet stripes, the dots pattern sits comfortably with the rounded shapes of the curve mugs and was also instantly successful. Although Jet was always meant to have a masculine appeal it is by no means exclusively for men. The softer Jet Dots range appealed to also to women, softening the collection.
Jet has always been at the cutting edge of design. Although other manufacturers have introduced Black Tableware it has rarely been successful. Black is a challenging choice and the high gloss alternatives and plain black ware which is available on the market does not always sit comfortably with every day use. By combining white with black in the main Jet collection and offering the two alternative accent ranges to heighten the collection it looks like Denby have cracked it.
